My name is Jess and I started Spectrum cuts in honour of my son Archie who Is Autistic. Our story started in 2020 when lockdown left Archie without a barber, the return after covid was not easy for Archie and I realised there wasn't a service such as barbering that was adapted for children with learning and physical disabilities. I decided I was going to complete my level 2 in barbering and set up a mobile barbering service specifically for neurodivergent children that require the adaptations for a comfortable and safe hair cut experience. As a SEN parent I understand the importance of finding a service that works for our children.
